Let It Snow - Heidi Cullinan

I thought I knew exactly where this story would go when I started it as its a snow in so thought insta-love after they're forced together. It was so much better than that, 3 of them are sharing a cabin and Frankie is on his way home. They end up snowed in together but it definitely is not insta - love. I loved all the characters (well not sure about Andy), I couldn't see how this was going to work out for the couple but glad it did. Didn't realise this was a series but i'm glad because I want to see the other 4 get there stories I think I can see how it could work out as well ☺

As You Are - Ethan Day

I enjoyed this book it was a really quick read about two flat mates. The whole book was a bit of a tease Julian is in love with Danny but has decided he is going to get over him which is were all the mess and confusion start which made for some funny moments. If these two just sat down and had a proper conversation early on they probably would of worked out they both had feelings for each other.

84 Charing Cross Road - Helene Hanff

I read this with a buddy for a challenge she chose it as it fit the criteria and I just went along with it because the story sounded familiar and it was short.

I'm so glad that I read it, it was such a good story that took part in the form of letters spanning 20 years. I listened to this but would definitely like to read it to see it in letter form, I liked both main characters as well as the supporting cast.

After The Fall - L.A. Witt

This one was a nice addition to the series as we have met Nathan in few of the other books but he's mainly a background character until now. They meet after an accident but then end up friends when Ryan offers to help Nathan train his horse because he feels bad for causing the accident.

Its obvious they both like each other pretty early on but they both have hang ups about relationships for different reasons also Ryan doesn't stay anywhere for over a year, I think this is also the reason that they even started messing around in the first place because they thought it couldn't go any further. I liked both characters but we didn't get to see to much of the others although they did pop up once or twice.

Crescendo - Becca Fitzpatrick

Wow this book was good I think the fact I didn't know who to trust or where it was going is what made its so good and the cliffhanger at the end has made me want to continue with the series asap, it was like it ended in the middle of a conversation.

Quite a few of the characters annoyed me in this one but think I it was because all the secrets that were going on, and I kind of forgave Patch as there was a reason he was acting the way he was. I'm also hoping Vee was acting like that because of Rixons influence because I don't think she needed to go on so much about how bad Patch was ALL THE TIME.

Christmas at Harrington's - Melody Carlson

This was my first book by this author but I have several planned for this month so glad I enjoyed it. I didn't read what it was about before I started so was surprised when the main character had just left prison, we find out that she was set up by her ex husband the minister (he was an idiot). The town of New Haven seemed so nice and had some lovely characters like Jemima the 6 year old neighbour.
Even though I didn't like Justine for what she did I think her actions made Lena finally stand up for herself and in the process clear her name.

Diversion - Eden Winters

I had to read a book for a challenge that fit addiction and saw this so thought i'd go with it. I'm so glad I did because Lucky's inner monologue was so funny, he came off as cocky to most people but I think because we knew he's real thoughts it made it quite funny.

The story was also quite original for me as i've never read anything that involved a pharmaceutical department of the police also the fact that it involved ex cons was different. I will definitely be picking up the next in the series sooner rather than later.

A Daring Ride (The Bullriders) - Andrew Grey

I think this one might of even been better than the first in the series. We briefly met Jacky in the fist book where he seemed quite flamboyant but in this one it seemed a bit toned down. Simon "Frizz" seemed a bit boring to me at the beginning but I really ended up liking him especially as part of the couple, he's been brought up well and to a nice family. I didn't like the way his father was to his employer but glad that he finally did the right thing regarding his son.

Wishing for a Home - T.A. Chase

I'd totally forgotten about this series but was looking for a 3rd in a series book and came across it luckily. It was such a lovely story of a closeted musician who needed some time out and a quiet man with his own secrets. I've read quite a few m/m books with this same theme so wasn't sure if i'd find this boring but I really didn't. I loved both characters they were both decent people and so were the side characters

(well except Thomas)

(show spoiler)

. I also really liked how the whole problem was worked out, it made it believable.
