This book was so good but so messed up. I couldn't believe how callous some of the children and staff were especially about people dying. Cia was a great character, although she was trusting she also had her eyes open to what was going on at the Testing centre (partly because the story her father told her). There are some characters that really surprised me in a bad way Will - I didn't see that coming). I'm still not sure how I feel about Tomas and Michal, I want to know what's going on but guess i'll have to wait for the next book which can't come soon enough after that ending.

Sigh how I love Will Cooper.
I loved the first two of this trilogy so was scared this one wouldn't live up to them but oh it did there was still plenty of tissues needed and lots of laughs. Even though you already know the story its like you're reading a different story when it comes from Will's POV, You understand why he reacted certain ways to things with Layken and how he dealt with their situation. The honeymoon clips were great for letting us know how the other was feeling and I LOVED the epilogue they make such a great family.
I'm also glad there were still plenty of Slam sessions with new poems.

I have read this authors work before so was looking forward to reading this one and she didn't disappoint. At the beginning of the book I thought this was just going to be an ok read for me but I ended up loving it.
Loved Rory and Tyler, they were great together. Tylers brothers were lovely as well, I really liked the scenes when they were all together. I can not say the same for Tyler's mother WORST PARENT EVER, I don't know how someone can treat their children like that and I hated what she did to Tyler. Rory's family were ok her dad did annoy me sometimes but I guess he was just being protective, i'm not sure how I feel about Rory's friends I did not like the scheme they came up with at all. I see Jessica's book is next so that should answer some of my problems with her.

A few things i didn't like Rory was way too forgiving about what her friends did and I don't know why she never confronted them also I did not like how the whole situation with Nathan and tylers friend was dealt with. WHY was he still talking to Rory like nothing happened? Also it would have been nice if there was an epilogue to let us know what was going to happen with Tyler's family, his job etc

I'm not sure what I was expecting when starting this book as the cover was my main attraction ☺. But it was very different to anything i've read before, its set in a historical setting which starts off in london ( I enjoyed that part as its where I live)then moved to a more rural setting. You don't realise there's anything paranormal going on for a while and even then I was trying to figure out exactly what was going on with Lora, the answer was very surprising.
I liked the whole school setting but disliked a lot of the students there they were so stuck up, I LOVED Jesse he was so down to earth. I can't say the same for Armand he was so arrogant, although i did feel sorry for him later in the book I didn't want him to end up with Lora, but now after Jesse i'm not sure

I think all the action starts quite late in the book but I guess that leaves you wanting more, especially after that ending :-( I am intrigued to see where this series goes.
